Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 August 2026  |  Version 1.0  |  QuoteBridge, operated by EQI Caribbean Technology

Please read these Terms carefully before using QuoteBridge. By creating an account or submitting a request through this platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

1. About QuoteBridge

QuoteBridge is a digital insurance lead generation marketplace operated by EQI Caribbean Technology, a subsidiary of Project 3 Consultants and Logistics Inc. (Company Registration No. 52770, Barbados) ("we", "us", "our", or "the Operator").

The platform enables consumers to submit insurance enquiries and receive indicative quotes from licensed insurers and brokers operating across the Caribbean. QuoteBridge is a technology intermediary only. We are not an insurer, an insurance broker, or an insurance intermediary. We do not issue policies, bind coverage, or handle premiums. All quotes delivered through the platform are indicative and non-binding.

These Terms govern access to and use of the platform at insurance.eqicaribbean.com and any related subdomains (the "Platform").

2. Definitions

In these Terms, the following words have the meanings given below:

3. Eligibility

To use QuoteBridge you must:

Providers must in addition hold all applicable licences and regulatory approvals required by the relevant financial services regulatory authority in their territory of operation. By registering as a Provider, you confirm that you hold and will maintain such licences throughout your subscription.

4. Account Registration and Security

You must register an Account before using the Platform. When registering you agree to:

We require multi-factor authentication (MFA) on every login. You must not attempt to disable or circumvent MFA.

We reserve the right to suspend or close any Account that we reasonably believe has been compromised, or that is being used in breach of these Terms.

5. How the Platform Works

5.1 For Consumers

Consumers may submit Lead Requests for motor or property insurance cover. Each Lead Request requires you to provide accurate risk and personal information. You may select which licensed Providers you wish to share your request with. By submitting a Lead Request, you consent to your contact details and risk data being shared with your selected Providers at the point of submission.

Providers have up to two business days to submit an Indicative Quote. You may then review and accept any quote you choose. Acceptance notifies the Provider, who will contact you directly to arrange the formal application and policy binding. All subsequent communications, policy terms, and premium payments are between you and the Provider directly.

5.2 For Providers

Providers receive Lead Requests from consumers who have selected them. Providers may submit Indicative Quotes within the response window. All quotes submitted through the Platform must be made in good faith and reflect a genuine willingness to offer coverage on the stated terms, subject to formal underwriting.

Providers acknowledge that QuoteBridge does not rank, promote, or endorse any quote over another. Quotes are displayed to consumers in a neutral format.

5.3 Nature of Quotes

All Indicative Quotes delivered through the Platform are non-binding estimates only. No insurance contract is formed through the Platform. Coverage is only bound when a formal policy agreement is executed directly between the Consumer and the Provider in accordance with the Provider's own terms and applicable law.

6. Consumer Obligations

As a Consumer, you agree to:

You understand that providing inaccurate or misleading information may result in quoted premiums that do not reflect your actual risk, and that insurers may decline to issue a policy or void coverage on that basis.

7. Provider Obligations

As a Provider, you agree to:

Provider access to the Platform is governed additionally by the Subscriber Agreement, which forms part of your contractual relationship with us. In the event of conflict between these Terms and the Subscriber Agreement, the Subscriber Agreement prevails in respect of the commercial relationship.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Platform to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Account found to be in breach of these acceptable use requirements without notice.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference. By using the Platform you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

We are committed to compliance with the Data Protection Act 2019-29 of Barbados and all applicable data protection legislation across our operating territories.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and materials on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Project 3 Consultants and Logistics Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of any data or information you submit through the Platform. By submitting information, you grant us a limited licence to use that data to operate and deliver the Platform's services.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

11.1 No Insurance Advice

Nothing on the Platform constitutes insurance advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to purchase any particular product. You should seek independent professional advice before making any insurance decision.

11.2 Platform Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend the Platform for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

11.3 Third Party Providers

We are not responsible for the accuracy of Indicative Quotes submitted by Providers, nor for any act or omission of any Provider in their dealings with Consumers following an acceptance. Any dispute regarding coverage, premiums, claims, or policy terms is a matter between the Consumer and the Provider.

11.4 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you in connection with the Platform, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) BDS $500. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your Account and access to the Platform at any time if:

You may close your Account at any time by contacting us at support@eqicaribbean.com. Closing your Account does not release any outstanding obligations owed to us.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The current version of these Terms is always available at insurance.eqicaribbean.com/terms/.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Barbados. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados.
